°1 cup granulated sugar
°1 teaspoon vanilla

°1 1/2 cups flour
°1 teaspoon baking soda
°1/2 teaspoon salt
°3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
°1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

°1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup melted ghee
°1/2 cup brown sugar
°3 tablespoons cream or 3 tablespoons milk
°3/4 cup shredded coconut
°1/3 cup chopped nuts (optional)

* Methods :

In a shallow bowl, soak the oats in boiling water for 20 minutes.
Meantime, measure butter // sugars to mixing bowl & whisk to light.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Sift the flour, measure the flour, sift again with soda and spices.
By this time oats will be soak & cool .
Removing beaters from cream mix also fold in soak oats.
Sift the flour mixture and stir.
Flip into a greased 9×9 skillet and bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes.
Mix all decorating ingredients.
Do not remove the cake from the pan but while it is still hot spread it over it and place it under the grill until it bubbles and turns golden.

Enjoy !
