Delicious Fried Cabbage and Bacon


*Ingredients

° 1 chopped cabbage
° 1 onion, chopped
° 2 tbsp. Chopped garlic
° 5 slices bacon, chopped (save your bacon grease)
° ½ tsp. onion powder
° ½ tsp. garlic powder
° Salt and pepper to taste

*Instructions

First step:
Start by frying the bacon. When done, set it aside and let it cool. Cut into small pieces.
Second step:
Save the bacon fat.
Using the preserved bacon fat, in a cast iron, sauté the chopped onions until browned.
Third step:
Next, add your minced garlic to the melt. Cook 30 seconds.
Reduce to medium-low heat. Then add the cabbage, stir and add a lid to the pan.
FOURTH STEP:
Let the mixture cook until the cabbage is tender and cooked.
Once the cabbage is cooked, add the spices, salt and pepper.
FIFTH STEP:
Finally, finish the dish by adding the bacon on top.
