°1 pound light breakfast sausage
°½ teaspoon garlic powder
°Salt and pepper to taste
°3 cups of milk
°All-purpose flour cup
°Homemade biscuits or buy in store


The first step:
Fry the sausages until fully cooked
The second step:
Remove the sausage and set aside
Do not drain the fat from the frying pan
Third step:
Add flour and stir constantly
Add salt, pepper and garlic powder and stir well
The fourth step:
Slowly whisk the milk and continue cooking until the broth thickens
Add the sausages back to the broth and stir until combined
Fifth step:
Let it simmer for another 5 minutes
Serve over biscuits
