Salt Frosting Caramel




Sweety, salted & delicious.This delicious homemade salted caramel buttercream is always a crowd pleaser and easier to make than you might think !

* Ingredients:
° 1 cup strongly packed dark brown sugar
° 1 cup butter
° 1/3 cup heavy cream
° 4 cups sifted powdered sugar
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

* directions :
Bring the first two ingredients to a boil at 3 1/2-qt. Pot on medium heat, beat constantly.
Stir in cream, and return to boiling. Remove from heat.
Pour into the bowl of a heavy-duty electric mixer.
Gradually beat the powdered sugar and vanilla on medium speed using the whisk attachment; Whisk 7 to 10 minutes or until thickened. Use immediately.
Sprinkle cake frosted with sea salt.
