Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll Lasagna❤️

Autumn is my favorite season. I love that it's cooler without being as cold as winter, the beautiful colours, the long nights spent mixed with a cup of cocoa, and of course the flavors of the season!

 * Ingredients  :

° 2 boxe cinnamon rolls
° 4 large apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Golden Delicious) ½ cup sugar
° 1 teaspoon cinnamon
° Half a teaspoon of nutmeg
° 1 tablespoon cornstarch
° 1/2 cup caramel sauce (or salted caramel sauce if you prefer)

* directions  :

Preheat oven 375°F and spray 8" x 8" x 2" glass or ceramic with nonstick spray (I used a 7" x 9" x 2" ceramic dish).
In a bowl, mix the apple cubes, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg to coat evenly. Cut the cinnamon rolls into ½-inch strips and roll them out on a floured work surface until thin.

Sprinkle them with flour because they are very sticky and will fall apart when you roll them. If you find this easier, you can dust your hands with flour and press it to loosen it.

Arrange the first layer of the flattened cinnamon rolls on the bottom and sides of the dish. Press them with your hands to seal them tightly.

Spread half an apple from the filling and pour 2-3 tablespoons of caramel sauce on top. Cover with another layer of cinnamon rolls. Spread the remaining apples and pour again with the caramel sauce. Cover with the remaining flattened cinnamon rolls.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the surface is golden brown. Leave to cool for at least 30 minutes, sprinkle with frosting (which comes with the cinnamon roll) and serve.

Enjoy !
