SLOW COOKER HAM & BEAN SOUP




*Ingredients:


°8 cups low-sodium chicken broth can be sub-water, beef or vegetable broth for more flavor

°1 pork bone left with meat or pork, pork sliced or

°1 lb. Cooked sausages

°1 garlic clove, chopped

°1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)

°1 15 ounces can tomatoes cut into cubes

°1 lemon juice

°1 cube onion

°1 Hearst soup package 15 beans

+Optional: hot sauce or ground red pepper to taste


*Methods:


1) After rinsing and draining the beans, sort out any unwanted debris and set it aside.


2) In a slow cooker, put the beans, sliced pork, onion, stock, garlic and chili powder. (You can use pork bone instead of pork cubes).


3) Cook for 7-8 hours at a low level (or 4.5-5 at a height) or until the beans are cooked.


4) Once the beans are soft and soft if you use the hampon, remove it and cut any leftover meat to add back to the pot.


5) Stir into tomato cubes, pork flavor packaging and lemon juice.


6) Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
