Homemade lasagna





*Ingredients:


°1 tbsp olive oil

°1 small onion cut into cubes

°1 pound mince

°1 pound Italian sausage

°1 28 ounces canned ground tomatoes

°2 can 6.5 oz. Tomato sauce

°1 can 6 ounces tomato paste

°2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

°1/4 cup sugar

°Salt and pepper to taste

°1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped

°12 lasagne noodles

°16 ounces ricotta cheese

°1/2 cup Parmesan cheese finely grated

°1 Egg

°2 cups grated mozzarella


*Methods:


In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil and onion. Fry until cooked and add mince and sausages. Cooking & crumble to brown and cook. Add the ground tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian spices, sugar and basil. Simmer on low heat.

In a large pot, boil the water. Adding lasagna and cooking for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain & rinse with cold water.

In  bowl, add ricotta, parmesan & egg. Stirring to incorporated.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and spray the baking pan 9 × 13 inches with non-stick spray and set aside.

To make lasagne, start by spreading 1 cup of meat sauce to the bottom of the pan. Arrange the pasta in one layer over the meat sauce. Spread 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese over pasta, then sprinkle with grated mozzarella. Repeat the layers and cover with cheese.

Cover with aluminum paper and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until hot and boil the cheese. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
