°1 cup raw oats (quick or regular, I used oatmeal)
°1 1/4 cup boiling water
°1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup butter
°1 cup granulated sugar
°1 tsp vanilla
°2 eggs
°1 1/2 cup flour
°1 tsp baking soda
°1/2 tsp salt
°3/4 tsp cinnamon
°1/4 tsp nutmeg
°1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup melted ghee
°1/2 cup brown sugar
°3 tablespoons cream or 3 tablespoons milk
°3/4 cup grated coconut
°1/3c nut

* Methods

In a shallow bowl, soak the oats in boiling water for 21 min.
Meanwhile, measure the butter and sugars in the bowl and whisk until the mixture is light.
Stir in eggs and vanilla.
Sift the flour, measure the flour, sift again with soda and spices.
By then, the oats will have soaked and cooled.
Remove the whips from the cream mixture and stir into the soaked oats.
Sift the flour mixture and stir.
Return to skillet 9 9 and cook at 350°F for 40-50 minutes.
Mix all the decorative ingredients.
Do not remove the cake from the pan, but as long as it is still hot on it and place it under the grill until it bubbles and becomes golden brown.
