Best steak pepper ever




*Ingredients


°1 tablespoon vegetable oil, divided for use

°1 red bell pepper, de-seeded and sliced

°1 green bell pepper, de-seeded and sliced

°1 1/4 pounds sirloin, thinly sliced

°2 tsp mince garlic

°1 tsp mince ginger

°Salt and pepper to taste

°1/4 cup soy sauce

°1 1/2 tsp sugar

°1 1/2 tsp cornstarch

Heat 1 tsp vegetable oil on medium-high heat in  skillet.

Add pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes or until softened. Remove the pepper from the pan and place on a plate.

Add the remaining oil to the skillet. Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper to taste.

Raise the heat to high. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes or until lightly browned.

Add garlic and ginger, then cook for 30 seconds.

Place the peppers in the skillet with the steak.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, 1/4 cup water, and cornstarch.

Pour the sauce over the steak mixture and bring to a simmer. Simmer 2-3 minutes or until sauce thickens, then serve.
