Italian Stromboli


1 tube  Pillsbury Pizza crust
8 slices deli ham
10 slices Genoa salami
12 slices pepperoni sandwich
8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons butter
2 gloves minced garlic
2 tsp chopped parsley
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
Melting butter in microwave and combine chopped garlic, parsley and Parmesan cheese. sit aside
I cover baking sheet with butter paper.
Roll out the pizza dough to about the size of a baking sheet.
Put a layer of cold meat. Start with pork, then salami followed by pepperoni.
Putting layer cheese at the end.
Roll the stromboli lengthwise, making sure to seal the seam well.
Sealends well. Pinch them and make the excess dough on the underside of the stromboli.
Scratch the top a few times with a serrated knife (to allow steam escape while baking).
Spread the stromboli with the garlic butter mixture.
Bake the stromboli according to the instructions on the back of any pizza dough you're using.
*I have found that this is the same baking time as you would for a regular pizza...however, you will not bake it as shown on the tube.
