*Ingredients:
°Four chicken breasts, you need to remove the skin and bones.
°A tablespoon of olive oil.
°Two teaspoons of Italian seasoning.
°One teaspoon of garlic powder.
°1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
°250 grams of chopped broccoli florets.
°1 tablespoon of water.
°A quarter c of cheddar cheese.
°Half a cup of low-fat cream cheese.
°1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard.
°Minced garlic clove.
°Salt and Pepper
*Instructions:
To steam the broccoli, I finely chop the broccoli florets and combine them with approximately 2 tablespoons of water in a microwave-safe bowl.
Next, I cut each chicken breast into horizontal strips with a sharp knife to make a pocket, continuing to cut about 1/2 inch from the ends and edges.
Next, I sprinkled the four chicken breasts generously with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and of course salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Next, I combined the steamed chopped broccoli, paprika, minced garlic, cheese, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, and set it aside.
I evenly distributed the mixture over the chicken breasts, securing them with toothpicks.
At this point, I preheated the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large cast iron skillet or oven safe, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
I cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned, covered with aluminum foil and baked for about 20 minutes, until well done.
Serve this simple chicken meal with a fresh side salad, garlic green beans, or mushroom rice. If you want to make it heartier, add some mashed or roasted potatoes. For more nutrients, use grains like couscous or quinoa. This cheesy stuffed chicken goes well with a variety of side dishes! enjoy it!!
Next, I cooked the broccoli in the microwave over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, covered with plastic wrap.
Enjoy !
