*Stuffed-Jalapenos*



*INGREDIENTS

°10 to 12 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded (see note)
°1 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese (or Tex-Mex shredded cheese blend)
°½ cup (½ 250g package) temperate cream cheese
°6 slices cooked and chopped bacon, divided
°2 green onion
°1 clove garlic, finely chopped
°Salt and pepper
°¼ cup panko
°¼ tsp. chili powder
°1 drizzle of olive oil (optional)

*STEPS

Preheat oven to 400°F and place the rack in the middle. Place the jalapeno pepper halves on a baking sheet, then set aside.
In a bowl, place the grated cheese, cream cheese, chopped bacon, green onions and garlic, then season. Mix well.
Using a spoon or pastry bag, stuff the jalapeno pepper halves, then top with the panko. Sprinkle with chili powder and drizzle with olive oil, if desired.
Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown. To serve.
