Taco Braid



*ingredients :

°1 box chilled pizza
°2 tsp olive oil
°1/2 c chop onion
°1 pound of Zaycon Fresh 93/7 extra finely ground beef
°3 tsp homemade taco season
°1/2 c water
°1 cup grated Fiesta cheese, divided
°1 tomato, diced, plus top if desired
°2 tsp un-salted butter, melt
°2 c romaine lettuce
°Sour cream and taco sauce for serving, if desired

* Directions  :

Prepare a folded baking tray by lining it with parchment paper.
Preheat oven 375 degrees F.
In  skillet, heat olive oil on heat.
Adding chop onion & cooking to soft, for 3-5 min.
Adding Zaycon Fresh 93/7 Beef & cook to brown.
Add the homemade taco seasoning and water and mix until well combined.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Meanwhile, move the piece of parchment onto your work surface.
Lay out the pizza dough on parchment paper and roll it out so it measures 10 by 15 inches.
Using a pizza cutter, make 1 1/2-inch by 3-inch-thick slices along both sides of the long dough.
Put the minced meat in the middle of the dough.
Cover the beef with 3/4 cup of the cheese, then add the tomato cubes.
Starting at one end of the braid, fold the end up and twist the first two strands to secure it.
Repeat rolling with remaining slices until last 2 slices
