CHEESE POTATO & SMOKED SAUSAGE CASSEROLE



*ingredients :

° 3 cups Idaho potatoes, peeled, boiled, and cubed when cool, approx.
° 4 tsp butter
° 4 tsp flour ...
°2 cups of milk
° Half a teaspoon of salt
° 1 / four teaspoons pepper
°Half a kilo of velveta cheese, cut into cubes
° ½ c cheddar cheese
°1 pound skinless smoked sausage
° 1/8 teaspoon paprika

* Directions  :

Cut skinless smoked sausage in half, lengthwise, then reduce to ½ inch (1/2 inch) Fry in a cast iron skillet for 15 minutes, stirring constantly, until slightly browned.

Mix all final ingredients (plus shredded cheddar cheese and paprika) in a saucepan over medium heat until warm, melted, and smooth. Hot cheddar cheese, then sprinkle evenly with chili powder.
 
Baking in  preheated 350°F oven about 35-45 min (until golden brown on top), meanwhile put the potato cubes in a 2-liter skillet, add the cooked meat and stir gently.
