Grandma's Biscuits - Don't Lose This

*Ingredients :

°2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour plus more flour
°2 tablespoons baking powder
°1 teaspoon sugar
°1 teaspoon salt
°8 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
°1 cup of milk
°2 tablespoons melted salted butter for brushing

* Methods :

Preheat oven 425. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, & salt to mixing bowl. Transfer it to the food processor. Cut the frozen butter into cubes and add to the flour, beating 6 or 7 times until it looks crumbly. Put the dough into the bowl again, add the curd and stir with a spoon until it forms a rough ball (don't worry if it's a little sticky).
Turn dough out onto a floured surface and roll into a rough rectangle, about an inch thick. Fold and roll it gently again. Repeat 6 times.
Gently roll the dough again to form a rectangle. Cut the dough into biscuits using a floured cup or cookie cutter. do not twist the cutter when cutting; This will cause the edges of the cookies to curl and not rise. If you have scraps, just fix a rectangle and cut extra biscuits.

Biscuits are placed on a baking tray and placed in the oven. Make sure they are touching. Bake To golden brown, for 10 to 15 min.  Spread with melt butter and enjoy!

Enjoy !
