Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken – A Recipe You Don't Wanna Miss!


An simply recipe about Alice Springs Chicken, an outback steak-takeaway.Chicken breast marinated in a honey mustard sauce, then add the mushrooms, bacon and lots of cheese! Very delicious.


*Ingredients :
°4 boneless chicken breasts, peeled down to 1/2 inch thick
° Laurie's Seasoning Salt
° 6 slices of bacon
° 1/4 cup regular mustard
° 1/3 cup honey
° 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
° 2 tsp dry-onion-flake
° 1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms (I omitted because my family doesn't like mushrooms)
° 2 c shredded Colby/Jack cheese

* Methods  :

First, sprinkle and rub the chicken breasts with the seasoning salt. Cover it & put it in  fridge for 31 minutes
When chicken is in fridge, cooking bacon in large skillet to crispy. Removing bacon and set apart . Do-not scrape off grease.
Sautee chicken in bacon fat for 3 to 5 min perside, or to it turning brown. Putting chicken in a 9" * 13" casserole plate or skiillet.
To making honey-mustard: In small bowl, Blend mustard / honey / mayonnaise, &dry onion flakes.
Spreading little honey mustard on every chicken piece, & layer mushrooms, crumbled bacon, & shredded-cheese.
Baking in 350 degree oven about 31 min, or to cheese is melt & chicken is cooking through.
