Cabbage roll are stuffed with ground beef, onions & rice, drizzled with sweet tomato sauce also cooked in slow cooker.

* Ingredients:

° 1 head of cabbage
° 3 cups tomato juice
° 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
° 1 egg
° 1/2 C uncooked brown or white rice
° 1 envelope onion soup mix
° 1 pound ground turkey or lean ground beef
° 1/3 cup parmesan cheese

* Directions :

Peel 8-12 large leaves from a head of cabbage and place them in a microwave-safe dish. Cover with about 1 inch (2.5 cm) water & microwave  for 2 minutes.In a bowl, combine the tomato sauce, eggs, turkey or beef, rice, onion soup and cheese and stir with your fingers until combined.Grease slow cooker with a little Pam cooking spray.
Carefully place a ball of the meat mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf and roll into a ball, placing the crock pot side down.Do this until all of the meat mixture is gone.After placing all the cabbage rolls in the slow cooker, pour 3 cups of tomato juice over them.Simmer about 6-8 h
