In mash, gratin, slices, stuffed or in the form of fries, the potato can be cooked as you wish. And as autumn is on its way, it's high time to revisit our classics: this simple but no less exceptional recipe for fried potatoes with onions will delight your taste buds! So follow the recipe…. 


° 4 Gold type potatoes.
° 1 large onion, finely cut into rings.
° 1 teaspoon of butter.
° 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
° ½ tsp garlic powder.
° 1 pinch dill (or your choice herb / herb).
° 1 pinch of salt and pepper.


1. Start by peeling your potatoes. Cut them into thin slices.
2. Do the same with your onion.
3. In  frying pan, and on heat, melt butter & pour in oil olive.
4. Placing potato rings & onion-rings in your pan.
5. Cover the pan and fry for about ten minutes.
6. After ten minutes have passed, gently flip your potato slices and onions with a wooden spatula so that they do not break. If the potatoes seem too dry, feel free to add an extra knob of butter for further cooking.
7. Sprinkle your potatoes with garlic powder, dill (or any herb / flavoring of your choice), salt and pepper, then fry for another 5 minutes, covering the pan again.
8. Serve immediately. Enjoy your lunch !
