CORNBREAD



This is a recipe that has been asked of me many times, and which I am sure will be appreciated by all. A bread that melts in your mouth, with a sweet taste and easy to make, it is the famous cornbread (or corn bread).

Recipe for 9 breads
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes

Ingredients for the cornbread - cornbread

° 140 g of corn flour (one cup)
° 2 eggs
° 115 g butter (1/2 cup)
° 125 g flour (1 cup)
° 2 g Alsatian yeast or baking soda (1/2 teaspoon)
° 135 g white sugar (2/3 cup)
° 3 g of salt (1/2 teaspoon)
° 235 ml Buttermilk (1 cup)

* Preparation : 

Preheat oven to 175 ° C
Butter a square dish
Melt butter in a pan
 Remove from the heat and add the sugar
Quickly add the eggs and beat until a smooth dough is obtained
Separately, mix the buttermilk and the baking soda
Add this mixture to the pan
Add the flour, corn flour, and salt
Mix well
Pour the batter into the mold
Cook between 30 and 40 minutes
