Cheesy ground beef quesadillas




Are you looking for a beef quesadilla with cheese? You have come to the right place! Well-seasoned ground beef, lots of delicious sticky cheese and a crunchy golden brown exterior make this quesadilla simply irresistible! They are sure to become as favorites in your home as they are in ours.

* Ingredients :

° 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
° 1 c chopp onion yellow (about 1 small)
° 1 cup chopped sweet pepper (about 1)
° 1 pound minced meat
° 1 1/2 teaspoons taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
° Salt and pepper to taste
° 6 large tortillas
° 3 cups shredded Mexican cheese mix
° 2 tablespoons butter

* Directions :

Heat the oven to 200 degrees.
Heat oil olive in skillet. Add onion / pepper and saute to softened, for 4-5 min . Adding meat minced and cooking to brown.Drain excess oil from the pan.
Transfering meat to plate or bowl & wipe down skillet. Arrange the tortillas on a large work surface, or if you don't have enough space, make them one at a time. Spread about 1/2 cup of the cheese on each tortilla, covering the entire surface. Divide the ground beef evenly among the tortillas and spread it over half of each tortilla.
Melt a piece of butter in the skillet and place the tortilla in the middle. Cook over medium heat until well browned, then use a spoon to fold the cheese side only to the beef side. Press down a little so the cheese melts together. Remove from pan and place on a wire rack in a 200-degree oven to keep warm. Repeat with remaining quesadillas.
